NEW DELHI: Country’s second largest telecom operator Airtel has rolled out a new tariff plan for its prepaid subscribers. The new Rs 181 pre-paid plan takes on similar plans from rivals Reliance Jio and BSNL.
Airtel‘s Rs 181 plan offers subscribers a total of 42GB data which is same as its Rs 199 plan. The difference here between the two plan is of validity. The Rs 181 plan comes with a validity of 14 days, while the Rs 199 recharge pack is valid for a period of 28 days.
Along with the data, users also get unlimited local and STD calling and 100 SMS per day. This is the first-ever plan to offer 3GB 4G data per day under Rs 200. Until now no other telecom operator is offering this amount of data under Rs 200.

The plan also offers 100 SMS per day and comes with the validity of 28 days. This makes the total data offered under Reliance Jio’s Rs 198 plan more. As the plan offers 56GB data in Rs 198. On the other hand, BSNL offers 3.2GB data per day with 100 SMS under Rs 187 Plan. The plan is valid for 28 days and also gives unlimited calling benefits to the users.
